BPI's manufacturing plants are strategically located throughout the Midwest, close to the source of raw material. This allows for an efficient transfer of raw material and helps us to maintain close relationships with suppliers. When you tour one of four BPI facilities, you will see a state of the art processing plant that has and will continue to evolve as the company incorporates new ideas and technology.

Constantly monitoring production processes and product quality, BPI’s plants and corporate headquarters are all computer-linked and interlinked to a master control station at BPI’s corporate headquarters. Such state-of-the-art controls ensure the most consistent, high-quality, lean beef available from any processor in the industry. BPI's largest and newest processing plant, located in South Sioux City, Nebraska, incorporates all the latest BPI technology into production, process and food safety controls. At this facility, BPI is capable of producing just as much as our other three plants' daily volume combined when at maximum production capacity.

BPI products are marketed nationally and internationally to a wide-ranging customer base. BPI's lean beef is available in either 60-pound frozen boxes of compressed blocks or free flowing Individually Quick Frozen (IQF) chips. BPI is approved to supply product for use in the USDA-AMS commodity ground beef program.
