Beef Products, Inc specializes in producing boneless lean beef trimmings. Derived from USDA trimmings, our product is typically finished as a 94% lean, frozen beef product in the form of small IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) chips or 60-pounds of chips compressed in to block. BPI products are a quality and economical replacement for a portion of lean boneless beef in most product formulations.

BPI has conducted research on grinding temperatures and grinding hole size. As a result of this research, we have concluded that grinding BPI^® Boneless Lean Beef Trimmings at 0 degrees F through a 1/4" inch tapered hole plate can, as a portion of the overall meat block, enhance the color and particle definition of ground beef. The BPI product will blend more evenly, which will result in lower micros throughout entire meat block.
